Renewable Energy Applications
The following link provides a data base for all renewable energy applications and can be sorted by date of application, status, size etc. This latest update was Oct 2024 – Cubico are not on it. There is only around 7.5GB awaiting or in construction so a long way from the NetZero target for 2030!

Transmission Entry Capacity (TEC)
NESO maintain a list of projects that hold contracts for Transmission Entry Capacity (TEC) with them. These include existing and future connection projects. And projects that can be directly linked to the NETS, or connected at a distribution level. This can be found here:

We have downloaded the latest Excel report here:
There appear to be no entries for Scout Moor 2 and only one entry for Cubico, which is Daviot Windfarm. This application is at the scoping stage for a combined wind farm and storage system. However, given the poor quality of data in government databases it cannot be concluded that Cubico do not yet have an application in for Scout Moor II.

Energy Monitoring
Real time monitoring of electrical power production is provided by a number of sites.
GridWatch
For those who like the old style dials reminiscent of the first generation control rooms, https://gridwatch.templar.co.uk/ is a great resource. These near real-time dials and charts display the actual as well as the percentage electricity produced by type against demand. Note that the majority of household energy is still provided by gas so even when the wind energy percentage is high, most household energy will still be provided by gas (i.e. not electricity from gas).
National Grid Live
Produced by Kate Morley, another amazing site for real-time data is https://iamkate.com/ which presents similar information to GridWatch but in a more modern format which helps to show the proportions of generation by different sources.
